A driver is fighting for her life in hospital after a crash involving three cars in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision on South Anderson Drive at its junction with Newlands Crescent around 1.05pm on Thursday.
The collision involved a Vauxhall Astra, Volkswagen T-Roc and Audi A3.
The 67-year-old female driver of the Volkswagen was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where hospital staff described her condition as critical.
No one else required medical treatment.
Sergeant Peter Henderson said: “Our enquiries are continuing and I would urge any witnesses to the crash, or anyone in the area at the time with information or dashcam footage which could be relevant to please contact us through 101 quoting incident number 1507 of September 11, 2025.”
