Adobe StockA driver has died at the scene of a two-car crash in Perth and Kinross.
Police are appealing for information following the collision on the A923 southeast of Coupar Angus around 3.10pm on Monday.
A white Suzuki SX4 Aeria was driving along the road when it collided with a black Audi TT.
Emergency services attended, and the 46-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the white Suzuki was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other reported injuries.
The road was closed for a number of hours and has since reopened.
Sergeant Steven Livesey said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died at this difficult time and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
“We’re appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened, or may have dash cam footage of significance, to please get in touch.”
