A man has been charged over a year after a cyclist died following a road collision in Angus.
Police were called to reports of a road crash involving a silver Ford Fiesta car and two bikes on the B965, Friockheim to Arbroath Road, on June 16 last year.
Two cyclists – a 76-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman – were taken to hospital, where the woman later died.
The 26-year-old driver of the car has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear in court at a later date.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
