A double-decker school bus veered off a road in Aberdeenshire following a medical incident on board.
Emergency services were called to the A92 at Inverbervie following reports of a vehicle leaving the road.
At the time of the incident, there were no pupils onboard.
Police Scotland has confirmed emergency services remain on the scene
The incident is believed to be a medical matter.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.15am on Thursday, May 8, 2025, we received a report of a school bus leaving the road on the A92 at Inverbervie.
“Emergency services remain at the scene. There were no passengers on the bus.”
Aberdeenshire Council confirmed the incident occurred prior to any pupils boarding the bus.
