A delivery driver was left shaken after being approached by three men in an attempted robbery.

The 38-year-old got into his blue Ford Transit van after the men exited a dark-coloured SUV-style vehicle and demanded cash from him.

However, they were unsuccessful in their attempts to rob the man and fled shortly after,

They are described as being of slim build and wearing dark-coloured clothing and balaclavas.

The incident took place on Dundonnie Street, in Boddam, at around 4.30pm on Saturday, December 10.

Detective Sergeant Kirsten Douglas said: “Fortunately, the victim was uninjured. However, they were understandably shaken.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and I urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone with information, to please contact police.”
