The death of a man found at a flat in Perth is not being treated as suspicious but police inquiries are ongoing.
Officers launched an investigation after a body was found inside a flat in the city’s Culliven Court on New Year’s Day.
The death was initially being treated as “unexplained”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40pm on Saturday, 1 January, 2022, police received a report a man’s body had been found within a flat in Culliven Court, Perth.
“At this stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious however enquiries continue into the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
