Death of man found at flat block treated as 'unexplained'

The death of a man whose body was found at an Aberdeen flat block is being treated as unexplained.

Emergency services were called to Denburn Court, Gilcomston Park, at around 1.35pm on Friday following the discovery.

Detectives are treating the death as unexplained but not suspicious.

A police spokesperson said: “At around 1.35pm on Friday, we were called to a report of an unresponsive man in Denburn Court, Gilcomston Park, Aberdeen.

“Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead.

“The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious and inquiries are ongoing.

“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
