Cyclist airlifted to hospital after crash closes road

A cyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a crash closed a road in Perthshire.

Emergency crews were called to the A827, between Kenmore and Fearnan, after a bicycle crashed at around 11.50am on Tuesday.

The rider was taken to hospital by air ambulance and enquiries are ongoing.

Drivers are being asked to use an alternative route.
