The A93 in Aberdeenshire has been closed in both directions after a crash.
Police and emergency services attended Ballater Road, near Aboyne, on Thursday afternoon
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
It is unknown at this stage if there any injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are currently in attendance at a crash on the A93 east of Aboyne.
“The road is currently closed and enquiries are ongoing.”
