Concerns growing for missing Perthshire woman Pauline Alston after disappearance from home Police Scotland

Concerns are growing for the welfare of a woman missing from her home in Perthshire.

Pauline Alston was last seen at her home in the Pitcairngreen area near Perth at around 5pm on Sunday November 12, but is yet to contact family since.

The 77-year-old is likely to have left home on foot, Police say, though it is unclear in which direction she headed.

An urgent appeal to trace her has now been launched.

Inspector James Longden said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Pauline and I urge people in the Pitcairngreen area to check gardens and outbuildings.

“The weather has been cold and wet, and Pauline may have sought shelter.”

Anyone who believes they may have seen Pauline at any time since 5pm is asked to call 101 urgently, quoting reference 1160 of Monday, November 13.
