A woman and three children who were missing in the Montrose area have been found.
Police had appealed for help in finding Iona Whyte, 38, and her three children.
Officers confirmed they had found them “safe and well” in a statement issued late on Christmas day.
It said: “Missing person Iona Whyte and her children have all been traced safe and well. Thank you for your assistance.”
