Disturbance involving e-bike rider in Carnoustie prompts police appeal for information

Police are appealing for information following an alleged verbal altercation involving an e-bike rider in Angus.

Community officers believe the incident, which happened at Links Parade in Carnoustie at around 1.45pm on August 2, may have been witnessed by a man and a woman using the nearby putting green at the time.

Officers are looking to speak with the couple as part of their investigation.

The male believed to be responsible was riding a distinctive black electric bicycle, with chunky tyres, upside-down copper-coloured front forks, air horns fitted to the rear and a large aerial.
