A cannabis farm worth more than £600,000 was discovered inside a disused building in Aberdeen on Wednesday.
Officers were carrying out enquiries at a premises in the Crown Terrace area when they found cultivation..
A warrant was executed the following day, and police seized 762 plants. The estimated street value is around £610,000.
There was no trace of anyone at the premises and enquiries are ongoing.
Sergeant Stuart Stevenson said: “This is a very significant recovery and demonstrates our continued commitment to removing illegal drugs from our communities.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and anyone with relevant information which may assist is asked to contact us as soon as possible.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and the public has an important role to play in helping Police Scotland target those responsible for the cultivation, supply and sale of illegal substances.
