The break-ins happened throughout the month of April, police Scotland said.

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with a string of break-ins and thefts in Inverurie.

Police Scotland said the incidents happened between April 2 and 30 in the Market Place area of the town.

A report will be submitted to the Youth Justice Management Team.

Police constable Linsey Zevenster said: “We would like to thank the local community for their support and co-operation while we carried out our enquiries.”
