A 12-year-old boy and two teenagers have been injured after a disturbance broke out in Dundee.

Police were called to a report of a disturbance involving a group of youths in an alleyway near the High Street around 9pm on Friday.

Two males, aged 12 and 14, and a 17-year-old female were assaulted during the incident.

The 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment.

Investigations are ongoing to find those involved.

Constable James Mackay said: “We were called to a disturbance in the town centre, involving a group of youths.

“We are reviewing CCTV in an effort to identify those responsible

“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3988 of Friday, March 20, 2026.”
