A bomb disposal unit has been dispatched to an Asda car park in Elgin after an old unexploded device was discovered on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the retail park on Edgar Road at around 12.35pm after an old unexploded ordnance device was discovered.
A cordon has been erected as a precaution and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit has been informed.
Pictures from the scene show a number of police vehicles parked in the store’s car park.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.35pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, we were called to a report of an old unexploded ordnance device found in the Edgar Road area of Elgin.
“A cordon is in place around the area as a precaution, and EOD has been informed.”
