A body has been recovered from the water at a beauty spot in Fife during a search for a missing teen paddleboarder.
Emergency services, including the Coastguard, were called to Lochore Meadows in Lochgelly around 5.25pm on Saturday after receiving a report of concern for a 15-year-old male youth.
A major search was under way with a no-fly zone put in place from Sunday until Monday morning.
The teenager had been paddleboarding at the beauty spot.
Police confirmed that around 1.20pm on Sunday, the body of a male youth was recovered from the water.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of the 15-year-old has been informed.
Police say there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
