A woman has been found dead after police were called to a property in Aberdeen.
Officers were called to the property on Sunnyside Road in the city on Monday morning around 10.40am.
Reports had been made regarding concern for a person inside.
The body of a woman was later discovered and the area was closed for investigations to be carried out.
Later, around 3.20pm a 43-year-old man was arrested on Scotstown Road in relation to the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.40am on Monday, 16 January, 2023, officers were called to a property on Sunnyside Road, Aberdeen, following a report of concern for a person.
“The body of a woman was discovered within, and officers remain at the scene.
“Around 3.20pm, a 43-year-old man was arrested in the Scotstown Road area of Aberdeen in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
