Police ScotlandA body has been found amid the search for a hillwalker in Aberdeenshire.
At around 4pm on Sunday July 12, the body of a man was discovered in a wooded area of Drum Castle, near Banchory in Aberdeenshire, police confirmed.
Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of 49-year-old Keith Gauld, who was reported missing from Peterculter on July 9, has been informed.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
