A body has been found in Perthshire amid the search for a Glasgow man who was last seen disembarking a train.
Michael Sheldon, from the Thornwood area of Glasgow, was last seen at an address on Thornwood Drive at around 6.50am on Tuesday, March 21.
Enquiries then identified him getting off a train at Perth railway station around 1.07pm later that day.
The 39-year-old was believed to have left the station on foot.
The body of a man was found by officers in the Bridge of Earn area of Perthshire at around 12.50pm on Saturday, March 25.
Police Scotland confirmed that Mr Sheldon’s family has been informed.
A spokesperson said that there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
