A body has been discovered on a beach in Aberdeenshire amid the search for a man missing for over a week.
Peter Wilson was reported missing after last being seen on Seaforth Road in Fraserburgh on November 29, heading south in the direction of The Links.
Officers said the 60-year-old’s disappearnce was “out of character”.
On Sunday, police confirmed a body had been found on Fraserburgh beach shortly after 10am.
Formal identification has yet to take place but Mr Wilson’s family has been informed.
The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
