Two bodies found hidden in a house in Dundee have been formally identified as missing mum Bennylyn Burke and her daughter Jellica.

The 25-year-old and her two-year-old child, from South Gloucestershire, were found at a property in Troon Avenue on March 18.

Andrew Innes, 50, appeared in court last month charged with their murders.

Innes made no plea when his case called at Dundee Sheriff Court. He was remanded in custody pending a further court date.

Police said Bennylyn and Jellica’s family had been updated and were being supported by officers.
