Armed police arrest three men after house raid

Police said there was no risk to the wider public following the raid.

Armed officers have arrested three man after a raid in Perth as part of an investigation by Greater Manchester Police (GMP).

Police Scotland officers, supported by specialist resources including a helicopter, executed a pre-planned operation in the Tulloch area at around 3pm on Tuesday, March 26.

The force, acting on behalf of GMP, arrested three men who were taken into custody as officers said there was no risk to the wider public.

Tulloch Hill, and part of Tulloch Road behind the property involved, were closed to traffic and local residents asked to leave nearby homes.

A Police Scotland statement on Facebook read: “Around 3pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, officers from Police Scotland supported by specialist resources, and acting on behalf of Greater Manchester Police, arrested three men as part of a pre-planned operation in the Tulloch area of Perth.

“The three men are now in custody and there was no risk to the wider public.”
