iStockA man has been charged after armed police were called to a disturbance at a home in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at a property on Faulds Gate at around 3am on Sunday.
Officers and firearms specialists attended the scene. A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection.
He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3am on Sunday, May 10, 2026, officers were called to a disturbance at an address in Aberdeen.
“A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, May 11.”
