Google MapsA man has appeared in court charged with rape at an Arbroath caravan park and indecent communication with a child.
The alleged serious sexual assault occurred at the Elliot Caravan Park on Dundee Road in Arbroath on July 8.
Scott Watson, also known as Scott Connolly, has since appeared at Forfar Sheriff Court charged in connection with the attack.
The 54-year-old from Arbroath is also charged with one count of indecent communication with a child aged between 13 and 16.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
Watson is due to make his second appearance in the next eight days.
