Police have said that Aberdeenshire farms have been “severely impacted“ after five quad bikes were stolen.
The vehicles were taken from sheds along the A97, between Alford and Aberchirder, between Friday, August 15, and Sunday, August 17.
Officers believe a grey Ford Ranger pick-up was used to tow them away on a trailer and have asked for any witnesses to come forward.
Detective constable Douglas Morrison said: “These thefts have severely impacted the farming community in this area.
“Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward.
“If you have any information, please contact 101 and quote reference number 1041 of Sunday, August 17, 2025.”
