A major Aberdeen road was shut down for ten hours after a pedestrian was struck down by a car.
Emergency crews were called to the A956 Cleanhill to Charleston road at around 1.20am on Thursday, March 30, near the Charleston flyover.
Original reports stated that two cars had collided, however Police Scotland confirmed on Thursday afternoon that a pedestrian and a car were involved.
It is currently unknown if there were any injuries.
The road was reopened at around 12pm on Thursday.
The road is part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route that encircles the city.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.20am on Thursday, March 30, 2023, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near the Charleston Flyover.
“The road is currently closed and emergency services are in attendance.”
