The A980 in Aberdeenshire has been closed in both directions following a two-vehicle crash.

Emergency services were called to the A980 at Mill of Raemoir, Banchory, at around 2.05pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Police confirmed that the road is closed at the junction with the B977.

It is currently unknown if anyone has been injured.

Drivers have been asked to use alternative routes until further notice.
