Police ScotlandThe A93 has been closed in Aberdeenshire following a crash.
Emergency services were called to the scene between Dinnet and Aboyne just after midday on Friday.
The road, a busy route through Royal Deeside, has been closed in both directions due to the crash.
Two fire appliances were deployed to the scene, and a spokesperson confirmed cutting equipment was used, before leaving the scene.
Police are advising drivers to find alternative route.
There are no reports of any injuries at this time.
A police spokesperson said: “The A93 is closed between Dinnet and Aboyne due to a crash reported around 12.30pm on Friday, August 21.
“Emergency services are in attendance.
“Please avoid the area and use an alternative route.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
