Police Scotland confirmed the major road at Longhaven, Aberdeenshire, was closed following the collision, which was reported around 7.30am on Monday.
A driver was taken to hospital in Aberdeen for treatment following the collision.
Road users were advised to avoid the area before it reopened around 9.50am.
