The A9 in Stirlingshire has reopened following a crash involving two lorries in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services were called to the road between the A820 and Keir Roundabout at around 4.20am.

The road was closed southbound for vehicle recovery before reopening around 5pm.

Both drivers involved have been taken to hospital.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
