Two women have been indecently assaulted in separate attacks in Aberdeen.

Police believe they were carried out by the same man in the Hardgate and Fonthill areas of Aberdeen.

Neither woman was injured in the attacks at around 3am on Sunday, March 13.

Detective sergeant Mike Reynolds said: “We have conducted a number of inquiries, including viewing a significant number of hours of CCTV footage from the city centre and surrounding areas.

“As a result, I believe the same man may be responsible for both incidents. He was dressed in a black-coloured puffa-style jacket, black lower clothing and footwear and was wearing a black beanie hat.

“He is aged between 20 and 30 years, is of a slim build an is approximately 5ft 10in tall.”

Officers have appealed to anyone in the area of Langstane Place, the Hardgate or Fonthill Avenue between 2am and 3.40am on Sunday who has any information about the incidents to contact them on 101.
