Two motorbike-riding thieves have stolen £5000 worth of clothing from a shop.

Staff were left shaken by the incident at Kafka on Rosemount Viaduct in Aberdeen city centre on Wednesday afternoon.

One man stayed outside on the motorbike while another entered the shop wearing a motorbike helmet and threatened staff before fleeing with tops and jackets.

The men, who were captured on CCTV cameras outside the shop, are not thought to have been armed.

Police Scotland detective Callum Kerr said: "The area would have been busy at the time and anyone who has information in relation to this is asked to contact police on 101.

"No one was injured but this incident is unusual in its nature and we would ask that anyone who has information which may assist us get in touch.

"We are also appealing to anyone who may have been offered the items for sale to contact them."
