A woman was rescued from a mountain ridge after falling ill during a hike.
Mountain rescue volunteers were called out to the Five Sisters of Kintail range on Saturday afternoon to a casualty who had become unwell on her way along the ridge.
A small team was deployed onto the hill to reach and assist the woman while other team members remained at the base in case any further assistance was required.
Kintail Mountain Rescue thanked passers-by who left the woman and their companion with extra warm clothing while they were waiting for team members to arrive at the scene.
A statement from Kintail MRT said: “The casualty and her companion were safely assisted off the hill. We wish them all the very best.”
