A woman who died in a two-vehicle crash in the Highlands has been named by police.

Sally Foulds, of Nethy Bridge, was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident on the A95, near Broomhill, on Wednesday, September 14.

The 38-year-old had been driving a grey Ford Focus car when it collided with a blue Volvo articulated lorry at around 7.45am.

The male driver of the lorry was uninjured.

Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing in order to establish the full circumstances.

Sergeant Chris Donaldson of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts remain with Sally’s family and friends.

“Our enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances and I would urge anyone who may be able to help and who hasn’t yet spoken to police to get in touch.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 0487 of September 14.’’
