A woman has been taken to hospital after a three-car collision closed the A9 in both directions.
Emergency services attended the scene of the crash near Carrbridge at around 6.28am on Monday.
A 39-year-old woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the collision.
Her current condition is unknown.
The road was closed in both directions for over two hours following the crash but reopened at around 8.50am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.05am on Monday, February 6, 2023, officers were called to reports of a three vehicle crash on the A9, Carrbridge.
“A 39-year-old woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
“The road was reopened and vehicles recovered around 8.50am.”
