A man has died following a one-vehicle crash on the A86.
Police were called to the road between Laggan and Kinlochlaggan around 12.50pm on Saturday.
The driver of a Ford Transit van was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been made aware.
The road was closed for eight hours while investigations were carried out.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or was on the road at the time to get in touch.
Sergeant Kate Finlayson of the Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of the man who has died. We continue to carry out enquiries to establish the full circumstances.
“I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage from around this time on the A86 and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible.
“The road was closed for eight hours. I would like to thank members of the public for their patience while we carried out our investigation.
“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1316 of March 21, 2026.”
