Two walkers were rescued after becoming trapped by rising burns in the Scottish Highlands.
Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team were recently called to the Gleann a Chaolais area after receiving a report of pair of trapped walkers.
The pair was walking in the area when they came across a burn that they were unable to safely cross due to the volume of water.
Rescue volunteers were able to quickly get to the walkers and set up a tension line to create a safe crossing spot for them.
The team was then able to escort the two walkers safely off the hill.
In a post shared on social media, Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team, said: “We were recently called out to help a pair of walkers after they became cut off by rising burns.
“The duo had been walking in the Gleann a Chaolais area when they came across a burn in spate that they were unable to safely cross due to the volume of water.
“Volunteers were able to quickly access the spot making use of the 6×6 a “tensioned diagonal” line was then set up at a suitable crossing spot to assist the two across.
“Team members then escorted them safely off the hill.”
