Two men have been arrested and charged after drugs worth an estimated £45,000 were recovered in the Scottish Highlands.
Police seized the controlled drugs, believed to cannabis, after stopping a Nissan Qashqai at around 3.35am on Thursday on the A82 near Drumnadrochit.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, with the men, aged 24 and 26, appearing at Inverness Sheriff Court on Saturday.
Detective constable Duncan Birse said: “I’d like to comment the excellent work of our Road Policing colleagues, who carried out this stop and allowed us to carry out our enquiries.
“Police Scotland remains committed to using every tool and tactic at our disposal to prevent the sale and distribution of illegal drugs in our local communities.
