Three have been charged in connection with a serious assault in Inverness.
A 48-year-old man was seriously injured in an incident in the Brudes Hill area of the city at around 2pm on Thursday May 14.
He was taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is not known.
The two men, aged 41 and 43, and a woman aged 41 are due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday, 18 May, 2026.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Three people have been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in the Brudes Hill area of Inverness.
“The incident happened around 2pm on Thursday, 14 May, when a 48-year-old man sustained a serious injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
“The two men, aged 41 and 43, and a woman aged 41 are due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday, 18 May, 2026.”
