Three people have been airlifted to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in the Highlands.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident on the A9 at Carrbridge at around 2.26pm on Wednesday.
Two ambulances, one critical care paramedic, HM Coastguard, and a Prehospital Immediate Care and trauma Team (PICT) were dispatched to the scene.
Three people were airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 14.26 to attend a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A9 at Carrbridge.
“Two ambulances, one critical care paramedic, an air ambulance, HM Coastguard and a Prehospital Immediate Care & Trauma Team (PICT) were dispatched to the scene.
“Three patients were transported by air to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
