A teenage girl has been hit by a car outside a primary school in Inverness.

Police and ambulance services rushed to the scene at Crown Primary just after 8.30am on Wednesday morning.

The force said there is no information of the 14-year-old’s injuries as yet.

Images from Kingsmills Road in front of the school show the aftermath of the collision, with a silver car having collided with a bike.

Emergency services remain at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a 14-year-old girl on Kingsmills Road, Inverness around 8.35am on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

“Emergency services are currently in attendance.”
