A takeaway driver was attacked by teenagers in the street while she was out delivering food.
The woman was targeted from behind as she returned to her car after dropping an order off to a house in Old Terrace, Invergordon.
One of two teenagers attempted to grab her mobile phone from her hand, before throwing it to the ground and causing it to break.
The attack happened in the Easter Ross town at around 6pm on Friday.
Police said at least one of the suspects is believed to be male.
Both were wearing dark hooded tops. One had dark jogging bottoms with a white stripe down the leg, while the other was wearing grey jogging bottoms.
