A road traffic collision has caused a closure on one of Scotland’s major roads.
The A82 was closed in both directions at Lochend between Drumnadrochit and Inverness at around 8.15am on Thursday following the incident.
Police and emergency services attended the scene, with drivers being asked to use an alternative route.
It is the second time there has been a closure on the road following a crash in the space of two days.
On Thursday morning, Road Traffic Scotland Tweeted: “The A82 is closed both ways at Lochend (between Drumnadrochit and Inverness) due to an RTC.
“Police are on scene. Please use an alternative route meantime.”
