'Significant concerns' for welfare of missing 86-year-old man

‘Significant concerns’ for welfare of 86-year-old man missing from Scottish Highlands Police Scotland

Police have expressed “significant concerns” for the welfare of an 86-year-old man who is missing from the Highlands.

Patrick Mills was last seen at around 9am on Monday when he left his home address in Nairn.

He was driving his grey Citroen Berlingo car with the registration plate MK08 ENW.

It’s not yet known where he went and officers have so far been unable to trace him or his car.

He is described as being 5ft 7 tall, of a large build with grey hair and glasses.

He was last seen wearing a beige long jacket, a tweed hat, blue jeans and black shoes. He also uses a walking stick.

Sergeant Craig McGhee said: “We have significant concerns for Patrick’s welfare given he has not been seen since Monday morning and would urge anyone who believes they have seen him or his car to come forward urgently.

“Anyone who can helps is asked to call 101, quoting reference 0661 of February 6.”
