The Scottish Environmental Protection agency has issued a number of flood warnings across Scotland as the country could face up to 150mm of rain.
Residents in the Highlands have been told to expect flooding in some areas after the Met office issued a yellow weather warning, which is in force until midday Tuesday.
Agricultural land in Strath Oykel, Conon Valley and Strathglass could all be impacted by the deluge of water.
River levels in Spey Dam to Newtonmore are now rising in response to the heavy rain and melting snow in the area, putting low lying properties at risk of flooding.
Properties and access routes along the River Dulnain are also at risk of flooding.
SEPA has also issued five flood alerts across the Highlands urging residents to remain vigilant.
