Men broke into football stadium then transported stolen alcohol in wheelie bin

A search has been launched for three men who broke into an Inverness football stadium and stole a large quantity of alcohol from the lounge bar.

Officers understand Grant Street Park, which is home to Clachnacuddin FC, was broken into between 3am and 4am on Sunday.

The three suspects, all believed to be men, approached the stadium from the direction of Kilmuir Road.

It is understood the men returned along Kilmuir Road in possession of bags which they were struggling to carry, and one of the suspects used a wheelie bin to carry items from Benula Road onto Telford Road.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the suspects or who has dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident, to contact them.
