Police are keen to check the man is safe and well.

    A car passenger who went missing after the vehicle was involved in a crash has been traced.

    Iain MacDonald was reported missing from the Daliburgh area of South Uist at around 4.30pm on Sunday.

    Police confirmed that the 58-year-old had been traced on Monday.
