Police are searching for a missing man from England who was planning to live “off-grid” on a Scottish island.

Officers are appealing for information to trace Harry Lewinton, who was last seen on Sunday, October 19, at his home address in Oxfordshire.

The 21-year-old is believed to be in the Highlands and may be trying to travel on to either the Western or Northern Isles.

When last seen, he was wearing a black beanie hat, and it is believed he is wearing a blue jacket, brown t-shirt, black joggers and carrying a black bag.

Harry is said to have been in Inverness city centre on Tuesday, October 21, and officers believe his intentions are to live “off-grid” on a Scottish Island.

His primary mode of transport so far has been on the rail network.
