Police are investigating after a Rolex was stolen from a hotel room in The Highlands.

A room in the Royal Hotel, Trail Street, in Thurso, is believed to have been broken into between 6:20pm and 6:40pm on July 27.

A men’s Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch, worth approximately £8,000, was stolen.

Police are appealing to the public or anyone who has information to contact 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The Royal Hotel have been approached for comment.
